Black Shadow, a recently graduated ninja assassin, returns home from his training to begin his career; however, due to the tight job market, he is forced to take on a job as a stockboy at the local grocery. Mike and Drew, two fraternity brothers, hop from convenience store to convenience store exploring the competitive side of the “beer run.” And Janitor Joe goes to great extremes to prove to everyone at the grocery store that he can – in fact – be a “creepy janitor” as these three seemingly disparate storylines converge in a large-scale grocery store fiasco.

Set in rural America a father discovers his young daughter dead of fever. Knowing her death was inevitable due to her illness; he is at first devastated but quickly realizes that he does not want his fragile wife to see that the girl has passed. While composing himself he decides to hide the girl in the barn so he may prepare his wife for dire news. But after approaching his wife in the kitchen he is unable to face her with the death of their child.
The Father decides to bury the girl secretly, thereby giving his wife the gift of a few hours before her life will be forever altered.
The Father, Unblinking is a story of how two people deal with the death of their child and their inability to communicate their feelings and thoughts with each other.
Fine Art Magazine describes the story as 'Imaginative and original, a wonderfully sensitive, moving and compelling dark tale’.
