A small town in Wyoming is no place for a young man with dreams of playing in a salsa band. Seizing his destiny, Harlan heads west to the Mecca of showbiz wannabes everywhere: Los Angeles

Stopping at a roadside cafe', Harlan encounters the mysterious Jude who is on the run from two vicious thugs. Jude hides a small bag in Harlan's car.

After his first night in L.A., Harlan awakes to find his friend Caesar gone, but in his place is the lovely Tuesday Blackwell.

The thugs find Harlan and kidnap Tuesday leaving word that if Harlan wants to see her alive, he had better come up with what they're looking for.

Harlan throws himself into a wild rescue mission that has him running one step ahead of the cops and headlong into the grips of a pair of ferocious killers.

When slacker Jack Paradise gets kicked off his crashing-couch, he recieves a letter claiming his lost love Rose is in Texas. His best friend, Peter Jonson, a novel-challenged writer who spends more time at his firm sweat shop and feeling the wrath of his overbearing girlfriend's whip and chain, advises Paradise to go after her.
