When hardcore soldier Gary devises a scheme for fast cash, he enlists his cowardly friend Donovan as a not-so-willing accomplice. Gary's methods are mostly madness; the key to his preparation is enacting the robbery with action figures on a scale model of the store. When the action-figure robbery climaxes in nuclear armageddon, Donovan's already-cold feet drop a few degrees further. But Gary threatens and cajoles Donovan with a series of military-ish tactics that finally set the plan in motion. Short on smarts and full of misguided ambition, the duo dives into a mission that neither of them is prepared for in this dry comedy about crime and friendship.

While dealing with an ex-girlfriend with irritable-bowl syndrome named Tammy, Chuck lives every moment to the fullest during the trial process. In the end, Chuck’s dream of justice becomes a nightmare. The trial is declared a mistrial and he gets thrown in jail for his behavior. Even though his dreams of justice don’t work out, Chuck does come away with one clear verdict… the undeniable truth that there is somebody for everybody in this world, including him.
